Celebrate the cycles of seasons and preserve the ephemeral beauty of local flowers in this dried wreath workshop with farmer-florist Elle Sullivan! Using naturally dried flowers and foraged elements reflective of our Northwoods ecosystems, we'll build hand-tied wreaths for holiday or year-round decor.
This workshop will begin with a discussion of color theory and other design principles to consider in your wreath-making, and Elle will demo the tips and tricks she's cultivated over the years. Participants will finish the workshop with a completed wreath made on a 10" base.
Instructor will provide the following:
All class supplies, including floral snips, wire snips, dried flowers, wreath base, foraged accents, ribbon, and paddle wire.
Students are asked to bring:
Note-taking tools (if you’d like to take notes).
We recommend dressing in layers, as certain classrooms can be drafty depending on the time of year.
Since your class runs over the lunch hour, you may want to consider bringing a lunch or snack. Click HERE to learn about local eating opportunities available before or after your class.
