Botanically dyed bandanas are here, so you can wear the colors of the flower field year round! Marigold flowers are harvested and dried, then brewed into gorgeous dye baths that transform the rich orange flowers into a range of golds and ochres. The first images is most representative of the range of colors. Because every bandana is handmade, there will be slight variations in color and pattern across each style.
Bandanas are ~20”x20” with serged seams, 100% unbleached cotton, and mordanted with alum and tannic acid. This process helps affix the dye to the fibers.
Recommended care instructions: hand-wash in lukewarm water with a gentle detergent, then hang to dry. Colors may bleed slightly on the first wash, but won’t stain other fabrics.
