Celebrate Mother’s Day with the first local flowers of the season, on Sunday, May 10th from 2pm to 4pm at Yellowbird Coffee in NE Minneapolis.

Design your own floral arrangement in this beginner-friendly class! Join Elle, farmer-florist at Mellifera, to learn the technical and artistic basics to floral design, and in the process create your own unique arrangement with fresh, local blooms. We’ll use all the best spring varieties, such as tulips, lilacs, flowering branches, hyacinth, daffodils, and more!

The perfect Mother’s Day gift, regardless of who you’re celebrating and how! Take your parent out to exercise your creative muscles together, collaborate with siblings on a piece to memorialize a matriarch who has passed, or bring your artsy teen with you to learn a new craft.

We’ll provide all the materials and tools you need, including a vase to take home and reuse for future designs. And if one day of flowers isn’t enough for you, check out our Summer Flower CSA, available for pick-up at either Yellowbird Coffee location!
