Workshop Flow

Introductions & Design Foundations —
Meet our design cohort, then review color theory and floral arranging principles and techniques.

1

Quick Create —
Don’t think, just make! Design the first iteration of your floral arrangement, focusing on feeling over perfection.

2

Peer Critique and Instructor Feedback —
As a group, we’ll review each design, focusing on identifying each other’s strong suits, helping each other articulate design goals, and sharing observations on how to hone the design.

3

Intensive Create —
Jump into a second design with more abundant working time. Create a second draft of your initial piece, or start anew. Incorporate the feedback and inspiration you just gleaned!

4

Closing —
We’ll make a second lap of the room, with a focus this time on compliments and celebrating design delights. Elle will also give advice on styling an arrangement for photos.
