All Mellifera wreaths are made with flowers grown on the farm, foraged goodies from the woods, and leftover florals from weddings and events. Most wreaths are hand-tied on a gold wire base, while a few designs feature woven willow or grass bases. “Mini” wreaths are made on 4” bases, and have a finished diameter of 6-8”. Regular wreaths are made on 5.5” bases, and have a finished diameter of 8-10”. Woven wreaths are made on irregular bases and have finished diameters of 10-18”.
If you plan to store your wreath and only display part-time, we recommend packing it in a small box, storing in a climate-controlled and pest-free location (such as a bedroom closet). Pack and unpack your wreath carefully, as the florals will become fragile and brittle if very dry.
